Inside The Bun Kabab

I have been thinking of writing this blog since a DECADE! Atleast it seems to be a decade.
I am a telecommunication graduate from Canadian University of Dubai. I have been living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia since I was a small innocent girl of 2 years :P . Then I lived in Dubai for 5 years. Dubai is an amazing place to have a taste of all kinds of cuisines. The fine dining restaurant, the small malbari or as well call if Mallu Cafe or casual ones, tried them all! Simply love Dubai for its food! (ofcourse much more)
Well I been cooking from the age of 11. I simply love cooking and ofcourse eating food. Hardcore lover of baking! And I like creating stuff ; fusion of cuisines. Pakistani, Italian, Spanish, Chinese and whatever comes in my way. I cook like a maniac at 2 occasions mostly; EXCITED or DEPRESSED!

Fortunately, to add a climax to my food-i-tale,  God gifted me with a Hubby-Chef!
Yes, my husband is a chef and I don't get many recipes from him but we get to generate wonderful ideas. According to him, "You eat food in 3 steps, first you eat it with your eyes (presentation), second with the nose (the aroma) and the last with the tongue(the taste)"

Restaurant Version of Bun Kabab

So this is almost my introduction now about THE BUN KABAB. Bun kabab is a popular sandwich in Karachi, Pakistan. You can see the street vendors selling a variety of it; with eggs and meat. Its made up of homemade patty made up of Shami Kabab (ground lentils, spices, an egg batter and chicken or beef, then shallow fried) with chutney or raita and onions. Served between lightly oil tossed buns and wrapped in the newspaper! - The Pakistani Way. I love it because of its spicy and tangy taste. The taste of chutney, onions and kabab does wonder on the tongue!
